The California State Trade and Export Promotion (STEP) program and the California Center for International Trade Development at State Center Community College District, announce participation and registration for the Consumer Oriented Outbound Trade Mission to Mexico.

 

Mexico Outbound Trade Mission

  Date and Location August 5-8, 2018: Mexico City and Monterrey
Mission Itinerary August 5: Arrive at Mexico City
August 6: Market Briefing/1-on-1 Meetings (MEX)
August 7: Company Visits (MEX)/ Travel to Monterrey
August 8: Business Meetings in Monterrey
Official program begins on August 6th at 9AM and ends on August 8th at 5PM.

- California's 5th largest ag export destination- $1billion-representing 5% of total ag exports
- Top Packaged Food Categories: Baked Goods; Dairy; Rice/Pasta/Noodles; Sauces & Condiments
- $8 million in Projected Sales from 2016 Regional Activities in Market

Participation Details

- Companies responsible for all hotel/travel arrangements (recommendations will be provided)
- Be an eligible small business in operation for not less than the 1-year period
- Operating, organized, or incorporated in the United States
- Have access to sufficient resources to bear the costs associated with trade, including the costs of packing, shipping, freight forwarding, and customs brokers
